An African returning from a long odyssey decides to speak to his family. He invites them with poetic words to edify the day that comes. For this, it is necessary to carry out a transformation of the cultural and historical experience of a continent which has experienced all the ups and downs of the human condition. For its author, the Senegalese economist, thinker and poet Felwine Sarr, this text aims to “push humanity further, push back the horizon of light, remove sand from living waters”. It is about “reopening the field of possibilities and designing an African utopia.” This initiating word invites a restoration of meaning, a rehabilitation of the present and the creation of a new civilization project.
