“Laughing Frame” is invited and performed in several festivals such as San Francisco International Arts Festival 2018.

Dance is translated into a painting. Dance genre is translated into a picture frame. Dancers like to cross the genre but the frame never moves while laughing. We perform with respects and antitheses towards existing dance genres.

Choreographer Wataru Kitaowas born in 1987. He learned several dance genres. After graduating university, he established Dance Company Baobab and created his original dancing style. Baobab organizes dance festival for young choreographers "DANCExScrum!!!" biennially. He won Yokohama Dance Collection 2018 Competition 1 "Best Dancer Award" and became jury from 2020.
