Petit bout de bois “Bantu Mam Yall”    45'
Djarama Company (Senegal)

Theater with Puppet

April 26, 20h30
Grande Place PENC MI                      All audiences - From 8 years old

The show "Petit Bout de Bois" tells the life of these little boys commonly called talibés or street children. Placed under the rule of a marabout who is supposed to teach them the Koran, they wander daily in the Dakar neighborhoods. Small bands begging for donations from passers-by. Considered the “ghosts of our streets”, these unfortunate heroes, touchingly mischievous, populate the stage.
