WAVE 30'
DANCE PJ REVO×MATSURI ENGINE
(Japan)
Danse
This is a dance performance show with the concept of "MATSURI (Japanese festivals)." The motif of the dance is the sea of Japan.
In 2011, Japan suffered great damage from the Great East Japan Earthquake. "MATSURI"
The festival is held once a year to entertain the gods, and is also a prayer for the recovery of disaster-stricken areas. And as a culture that connects people, we must treasure and protect them.
As MATSURI has declined due to the effects of COVID-19, we will travel across the border to Senegal to preserve this culture and express it through dance, delivering the vital energy of the people.
A collaboration between MATSURI ENGINE and EXPERIMENTAL HIP HOP a new artistic movement created by DANCE PJ REVO.
